Vibiana was the perfect location for this downtown LA wedding ceremony & reception.  I love this location, the history, the ornate designs and the 100′ ceilings made my job more enjoyable.

Ami and Amir were married on one of the most gorgeous days southern california had this year.

Ami’s room at The Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel looked over the ceremony site and even further down the beach at one of the most beautiful sun bathing scenes around.

The laid back and happy bride is the most photogenic kind and thats just what Ami was.

Carrie Chen of Details Details Event Planning was outstanding and fun to work with her team was great too! I love working with them.

Nisie’s Enchanted Florist created a beautiful design and layout for the ballroom that complemented The Ritz very well.

Courtney & Pete exchanged vows and became married in front of their closest friends and family, after the small ceremony, they hosted a party for their favorite people that included music by the LA All-Stars, amazing dinner from the Executive Chef Gabriel Ask, desert by Pink Berry and a non stop atmosphere of celebration.

I loved the laid back, carefree personalities of the bride & groom. Nothing could stress them out, they were at ease and enjoying every minute of their wedding day.

The next day was spent relaxing on top of The Montage roof, wading in the pool and sipping bloody mary’s while looking over Beverly Hills.

My best wishes go out to the newly married couple, such an honor to have been a part of such a weekend!

The most perfect weather Palm Desert could possibly offer was the night Ashley and James had their rehearsal dinner. Set in the heart of La Quinta Resort, the couple had their closest friends and family celebrate into the night with them.

Everyone from the age of 5 to the age of “I’m not telling you” had an amazing night. Face painting and a balloon artist for the kids, open bar and plenty of great food for the Adults kept this celebration happening until late.

Just wait until you see their wedding day! Perfect!

(It’s so great to be apart of the wedding process, to document everything from the Engagement Shoot, to the rehearsal dinner and then the wedding, I feel so much more invested in Ashley and James’ lives. It’s really a rewarding job I have.)

Yoon and Larry had one of the more elegant, relaxed and beautiful wedding days I’ve ever seen.

Both the bride and the groom had an aura so calm and relaxed it was almost therapeutic being around them. I know for a fact when I get married, I’ll be bouncing off the walls with excitement. But this was them and it was beautiful.

I know I’m posting this late, but thought it should be shown regardless. I wanted you to see some of the images I’m really happy with.

The wedding day was spent entirely at the St. Regis in Monarch Beach, some of the other vendors included Videography by Living Cinema, Officiant Reverend Michael, DJ Mark Hicks and Coordinator Kim Bradford. Lisa Heil did the ladies makeup while the hair was done by Ona Zimmerman.

Wayne & Erin were married in San Clemente. I was on site documenting the whole event. I loved shooting at Casa Romantica, such a great spot with a beautiful view and an abundance of natural light, textures and patterns.

I photographed a wedding with my brother Ira Lippke 2 weeks ago in the Hamptons. The wedding was amazing!

Highlights were abundant and I’m hoping more then the NY Times will feature this stylish wedding.

Yes, I realize photo credit was given to Ira for the image I took… Disappointing, but I won’t lose sleep about it.

Overlooking the Pacific ocean at The Montage Resort in Laguna Beach, Aubrey & Jordan were married. They’re closest friends & family joined them for the beautiful ceremony followed by a cocktail hour over looking the resort and the sunset over the ocean. All the guests were invited to the ballroom for dinner and dancing until late into the night. Excellent Music picked out by the Bride & Groom (both Music experts & fanatics) provided by DJ Patrick Belton. Never before have I heard “The Knife” “Pinback” & “Junior Boys” played at a reception & I loved it!

Amazing event, great couple & its so much fun when you work with like minded vendors.

Jeannie Savage of Details Details planned the event, Nisie’s Enchanted Florist did the flowers & Designs, Invitations by Nichelle of Details Ala Carte. Video was done by Forty One Twenty. Hair & Makeup was Christine Colluci.

I had a hard time narrowing down these images and which images to leave out. I’m sure you’ll notice I opted for just adding more pictures… Don’t think anyone will complain though. I loved this wedding!

This past week was spent having an amazing time with the Lippke family, joined by my Girlfriend Audrey, my cousins The Buffa’s, Andrea’s family the Codringtons, Daniel & Seanne Wehrenfennig and The Trine’s. I LOVE visiting New York City, someday I’ll move there. But for now I’ll just visit and enjoy every aspect of it.

I really enjoyed shooting in the bridal suit with the natural light pulling through the small windows.

The photobooth was a guest highlight during the reception…some fun pictures of guests wearing the crazy booth attire.

Can’t wait to hear what Joe and Remy think of their image!

Priya & Nikhil + The New York Historical Society + Rainy fall weather = Some of my favorite pictures of the season!

You may have remembered this sexy young couple from their engagement shoot this past summer (See their shoot HERE)

Priya got ready with her Mom and sister at “On The Ave” boutique hotel in the upper westside of town. Nikhil with his guys at his (& Priya’s) place in the village.

NY Historical Society was a great backdrop for outdoor portraits and their creative shoot. Inside was also perfect for photos, the dramatic lighting, the ornate paintings and perfectly designed interior, large stair wells and pillars helped frame my images. Special thanks to Brooke at NY Historical Society for all of her hard work.

The party lasted until late into the night, with an after party at the Empire Hotel.

Working with Priya and Nikhil has been such a great time. I look forward to seeing their marriage become better and better.

(The Standard Hotel Sunset)

Alex was with all of her bridesmaids and some key family members getting ready at the Mondrian hotel off of sunset and Robert and his men were getting ready just blocks away at the Standard. Getting ready pictures at these two locations is like a dream for me, it allows my visual creativity to expand and then eventually explode into fragments on these photos.

After getting ready shots, we moved over to Boulavard 3 for the ceremony and then the reception. Never thought I would have photographed a wedding at a dance club, but it was perfect, unique and totally told a story of who was getting married. So perfect!

Alex and Robert own a dance studio in Signall hill (“Elevation Studios”) so a good portion of their friends were dancers, it made for some wildness on the dance floor, as well as a few dance offs that would steal the show at any other party.

Hope you enjoy these images. I LOVED shooting this wedding with some highlights including: Heather and Eric in attendance, Vern Moen shooting video (very talented videographer) Nicole Pietrini, Nic Leyba,Eric & Lauren Trickett,Jeantel, Meeting Linda and seeing Gary Jones, it was just a great evening and a perfect day.

Driving up to this Castle in Garrison New York, I knew I was in for a treat. The sky was dark (perfect for my style of pictures) the Castle was elegant, majestic and opened up to my camera just how I had hoped. (More on Osborn Castle HERE)

The couple met with me in NY last spring to discuss their wedding plans and they eventually went on to book me for their wedding day. I’m so happy they did!

I believe the pictures tell the story, but just incase, I’ll narrate.

First castle I’ve photographed a wedding at. I loved it!

Osborn Castle, Garrison NY is amazing.
