I Photographed My Sister

My sister Glory just got married this last weekend. A friend of mine and talented photographer Matthew Land was the main shooter for the day. Ira and I did a private shoot with Glory & her new husband Drew.
Scouting the area for a good place to shoot was part of the adventure. I wore mammoth boots to tredge around the woods looking for perfect spots, glad I did, more then once I was ingulfed in mud and stinging nettle.
These images are ones that I shot of Glory & Drew. I’m looking forward to seeing Ira’s images as well as the images Matt took from the entire wedding day.
Enjoy & congratulations to my sister, isn’t she beautiful?

Hi Samuel – great shots and I agree, you DO have a beautiful sister. I must be getting old ’cause I can barely recognize the children I once knew in the special adults you have become. Was the wedding on the island?
creative family. beautiful unique expressions of love (this and ira’s wedding). you can really see how much you care for your sister through these photos. i love the wide bw vertical. something so mystical and romantic about it.
Samuel, Great shots. I love the close-ups (4257) of Drew with a simple smile and Glory looking like she’s from the 1920s. Definitely my favorites.

Wow, these are so ethereal and romantic. Beautiful work!!!
Great images… something I miss very much in Colorado is the brilliant greens. Hope you all had a wonderful time at the wedding!
