Farrah Fawcett’s funeral
I had the honor of photographing an amazing woman’s funeral. I don’t usually photograph funerals, but when I was approached to be the only photographer at Farrah’s memorial I took the offer.
It was touching to be apart of such an event and to see the love that her friends and family had for her…
Her Doctor (Dr. Piro) gave a heartfelt speech to her loved ones individually from her to them…not a dry eye in the LA cathedral.
I can’t write much due to discretion rules and I can’t post images that I took. But here are a few images that friends (And brother) have sent to me that I’m in.
All of my images go straight to Ryan and no one else. I’ll let you know if they get published anywhere through Ryan’s Publicist.
Even though I didn’t know Farrah, I experienced her friends and family, I experienced so much of who she was and what she represented. I wish she was still around healthy and strong, but her life will be forever remembered and her valor in fighting cancer will always be set to the highest level. Peace be with her and her family.
(I was able to photograph some extremally touching moments, bagpipes, tears, rosary beads, eulogies, it was beautiful)
