A Mojito at its finest
I made some amazing Mojitos last night.
After my trip to Habana Cuba last year, I think I’m a step above the rest in making good Mint Mojitos.
Here’s a few of my secrets:
Grab a good hearty short glass.
ADD
•1/2 teaspoons granulated sugar
•Drop of sparkling water and fresh organic mint leaves. Muddle in the glass (Don’t worry about making this look pretty) +Bonus add blackberries for an added twist and flavor… impress your guests with huckleberries if you have um.
Add desired amount of white rum. (Try to get Havana Club white rum if possible, it’ll blow your mind)
•Add quarter to a half squeezed lime.
•Drop in a few ice cubes
•Garnish with mint leaf (And lime if you hadn’t mangled it trying to squeeze out juice…We’re in a “dry lime season” as I call it, so it might not look too nice.)
Whats that you ask? Oh yes, of course I’ll make you one of these creations next time you visit! Just bring some Cuban Rum and I’ll make you as many as you like.
